[manjaro-general] Kernel?

hello, im using 4.1.18-1 kernel, cause its the one recommended in 
manjaro settings/kernel list. but howcome its still the recommended 
kernel? there are several new kernels, and now i read that 4.3 is being 
deprecated, and that people are recommended to switch to 4.4. is it 
because its lts and recommended by the manjaro team? or is it because 
its the one recommended for my system? are there some manjaro script 
that recognices your system, and recommends a kernel for you?
