hi all
One of our new team members, ryan eversole, has produced some fantastic
html documentation for sonar. I've replaced our open document stuff with
it, it's that good. However, the documentation, some of it at least is
desktop specific, like instructions for connecting to wireless networks.
Would anyone mind creating sonar-mate-connon and sonar-gnome-common
packages containing the documentation and the desktop icons? I only ask
because the sonar-common package we have now contains only the mate
documentation, and not gnome. If this can be done in one package all the
better. I don't know how you'd determine which desktop you're running on
so you'd know which documentation to install in /usr/share/sonar but you
guys know a lot more than I do. The docs are in the desktop-settings
repo, under shared/doc/sonar. By the way thanks for all your help and
effort over the years. I don't say that enough and all my last couple of
emails have been bug reports. You guys deserve a lot more credit and
mention than us over at sonar give you. I plan to change that.
Thanks
Kendell Clark
