Hi Guillaume and thank you a lot for this!

The new design is of course less compact. For me personally this does 
not seem like an improvement. Is there a way to switch off the more 
detailed package list?
I like the cool way to show the package details by double click.
For me the overall graphical appearance is not completely convincing, yet.
Spacing between lines is inconsistent for some reason and the dotted 
separator lines have little holes where the columns end (this is less 
obvious in other gtk-themes, but you see it when you know that it's 
there ... ;) ):



Also, there seems to be a problem with the tray icons.
I get a red cross for "your system-is-up-to-date" ;) (using AwOken icons):
