I got a conflict during a 'normal' update:

Doing a

> $ sudo pacman -S package-query

pulled in both 'package-query-1.5-1' and 'pacman-4.2.0-1' and they
installed. I then had:

> jonathon at ivy ~> sudo pacman -Syuu
> error: failed to initialise alpm library
> (database is incorrect version: /var/lib/pacman/)
> error:   try running pacman-db-upgrade

but after doing:

> ==> Pre-4.2 database format detected - upgrading...

things look to be working fine!
