[manjaro-general] Font Problem on fresh install (i3)

Hi

in my terminal (both urxvt and termite), I get strange character:
> drwxr-xr-x  8 nicolas root 4.0K نوفمبر 11 20:03

Also, I my manjaro desktop background image contains the date, and it is
yet a combination of square box instead of regular month.

AFAIK, this problem has always been present on my installation.

Using Manjaro i3 distribution
echo $LANG
en_US.UTF-8
