[manjaro-general] virtualisation test

Readers,
A new portable computer was tested for compatibility by installing
manjaro into a virtual machine. The operating system started
successfully, including wireless internet access between the m$ host and
manjaro guest machines.
Is this good enough to conclude that manjaro can replace m$ as the
operating system for the new computer?
The new computer does not have a cd/dvd drive, so perhaps the m$ system
must be removed by installing manjaro via a usb memory stick. Is this
simply achieved by copying the manjaro iso file to a (previously empty)
usb memory stick?
What would be the advice to create an iso image of the m$ originally
supplied with the computer, then remove it and possibly use as a virtual
image later in the future?
