I'm happy to announce the second release candidate for our 0.8.11 Xfce installation media!

   
Thanks to the Manjaro community for testing and reporting issues with the first release candidate, and a shout out to the Xfce community as well for their feedback!

 

Changes/fixes since RC1:

  * Fix CUPS service doesn't start (new service name in CUPS 2.0)
  * Shortcut key updates
  * Menda cursor theme added
  * Fix keyboard layout issue with CLi installer
  * Latest Pamac 2.0 development fixes/updates, including multi-word AUR search fix
  * Thunar updated with fix so preferred apps are remembered properly, also polkit support is introduced
  * Menda theme lack of transparency for inactive buttons fixed
  * Fix lack of support for thumbnailing ODF docs and RAW images
  * Fix xfce4-notifyd theme warnings
  * Change AC power battery icon to match rest
  * Fix for crashing when some Asian languages in use
  * Steam-native dependency fix/update
  * Many upstream updates, including 3.16 series kernel updated to 3.16.7.1
  * …possibly a couple more things that i've missed in this list.

It is anticipated that this will be the last release candidate.

This installation media is based on our Testing branch. Please report any issues you may find.
