[![system_software_update][1]][2]I'm happy to present our ninth update-pack for Manjaro 0.8.10!

With this update-pack we ship **Budgie-Desktop 6** now. This desktop uses Gnome3 technology in a new way. With it you can create a slim gnome-like desktop with low ram usage.

We also updated **linux312** and **linux38** for the last time. **This will bring now three kernels to their End-Of-Life period**. We recommend to update to a higher kernel-series if you're still using these kernels (see also current supported kernels list).

**Octopi** got some needed fixes. For more information please visit the github repo by Aarnt.

There is also a new point-release for **LibreOffice**. Release **4.3.1** fixes a lot of issues in the 4.3-series. We also worked on our steam-native packages and fixed some issues.

Mozilla updated Firefox and Thunderbird. We ship now **Firefox** in version **32.0** and **Thunderbird** in Version **31.1**. They include some new features needed security fixes.

**Systemd** got updated to **v216** and brings new features to the table.

If you wonder why we don't ship Plasma5 with this update-pack, well it didn't made the cut for now …

Please report any issues you may find.

kind regards
Philip
