[manjaro-dev] calamares branding issues

hi all
Since I'm trying to switch over to the calamares installer, I'm noticing
some issues with our branding files. The issues I've noticed are as
follows. The version is still set to 2015.3. I believe I can fix that if
I can get access to the files. The other issue seems to be related to
packaging. Our sonar-calamares-branding package only has branding for
the gnome desktop, and not for mate. I'm sure this can be fixed, I'm
just not sure how. I'm also getting errors when calamares is run that my
branding doesn't provide translations. I don't have a clu how to fix
this, but would it be possible to add translations for all the locales
calamares and linux supports? The last issue has to do with calamares
stable. When trying to run the stable version of the installer, after
pressing the next button the installer immediately segfaults. The
development version doesn't do this, and I'm not sure if it's branding
related or something with the installer, so I've switched over to the
development version. To make that work I had to use only one
packages-live file, thus the symlinks. Otherwise the build systems would
error out with a calamares and calamares-dev package conflict error.
Would anyone mind helping me with this? I've asked phil to do several
things already, so bernhard would you mind helping? I don't know much
about calamares so I'm pretty much helpless when it comes to this kind
of stuff.
Thanks
Kendell Clark
