Gerardo,

Do you have any insight into this?

Allan

Hi Allan,

I believe so, although my Linux skills are far too poor at present to
provide any more detailed information.

Our 0.8.7 release installs fine via CD/DVD on non-UEFI systems, whilst
0.8.8 RC2 does not. I believe there was an update to SysLinux 6 in this
time, but cannot say if this is related.

Issue was verified by Phil, and both of us used multiple burners at
multiple speeds. Same issue with the latest Arch ISO. As Datasticks
(using dd) work fine, I don't think it's a BIOS problem at our end.

By the way, won't make a habit of going through you with matters like this.

Thanks. I have forwarded this on to the relevant people.

Does your "same for Manjaro" indicate this is an issue brought in with a
    software update?
