[Mailman] The new manjaro

 Dear Friend, I am only about 1 year
old with manjaro and I love it. As I wondered what features I
would like to see on manjaro, this is what I came up with. Oh, I use manjaro gnome shell version.




The new manjaro






1. A grater diversity should be created
in the drop down menu. All axis from all drop down menus. As well It would greatly simplify things if
fore each icon there was a drop down menu from which you can do
everything, like Delete Software, Update, Set Location For The Icon,
Like Desk Top or Favorite Menu, ACT.. Re size Icon, Icon Look or
Image relapsing icon. 


 

2. Simple voice commands should be
considered. Such as open Firefox, or save to file so and so then
close. Act... This can be don buy taking say 20 simple commands and
record each one buy the user, for recognition purposes. 




3. Upon instillation there should be an
option of what software to instal or packages.
Installing games should be a separate
option under software options,  not everyone is interested in games.
Installing programing software should be an alternate install package
option.There should be a choice of advanced and
terminal users or regular window point and click option users.A separate down load icon for advanced users software package options, and separate install icon for beginners or the regular simple point and click
users and their package options.




4. Instillation should be re vamped
fore simple stupid installations, with explanations. For example a
separate choice for instillation should have an image of the hard
drive and you simply point to the location where you want the new
instillation. If a hard drive needs to be re sized just draw a line
to allocate the space, but use simple language for everything.
Standard and pro language and terminologies are a problem for many.



5. design your own shell or the look of
your desktop. A software to do this would be really popular, people
would be all over the map designing things.



6. There should be options of top menu
bar and side bar at the same time along with  flexibility and design.
Or maybe even 2 side bars left and right thus saving the height for
windows image. After all most screens are wider in relation to the
height.

 

 7.  manjaro should be able to check it
self for operating system errors and repair it self keeping it
optimized. Baby using a self actuated image file created automatically monthly or a special Internet location from which to
use the latest os  for self repair like an update location. Dual
purpose location.



8. Create a point and
click or drag and drop picture and icon terminal instead of Only a
Type Written Ward Terminal. Maybe like a simplified Cad for windows
design, window manipulation.



9. in case of freeze-ups there should
be one button to restore to an earlier time then take note of what
created the freeze-up.



10. Public Bullion board program for
ideas and opinions,  (with spell checker). Not (forum like). This could also be
big if designed right.



11. There should be an simple alternate method
of instillation of manjaro, I had problems installing live cd at
least 12 times and give up, i met with success 4 minutes later.
It is difficult to be different when everyone is producing operating systems just buy rearranging the same parts. The future is in creativity and innovation.




I Think I Should Stop Here As It May
All Be A Creative Waist Of Time.
