thx for your feedback. I'm only the XFCE install media maintainer.
I didn't had much time to take a closer look at Lane's work.
@anex: what do you think?

kind regards

Hi Phil,

You are welcome :-)..I installed the latest version of Manjaro
0.9 development version yesterday

I like this grey-green KDE5 plasma splash screen that appears
after logging in...and I also like the default dark KDE look you
have made

The slideshow in the Calamares installer also looks very
professional - I like that

I don't know about the fonts in the beginning (in KDE5 plasma
splash screen) - maybe you should consider using a more clear
and modern font ?? I mean where you have typed "Enjoy the
Simplicity" and "Manjaro KDE")

is it KDM you are using as login manager ??

I haven't tried the Manjaro GNOME CE 0.9 yet - previously when I
used it there was no Manjaro logo in the GDM login screen - only
the default GDM - Have you added such a logo in GDM now - then
maybe you might consider adding the Manjaro Logo ? openSUSE,
Fedora and Ubuntu GNOME have added their logo and name in GDM
below the password

You might also consider using the beautiful black-grey-green
flower artwork from the latest KDE version (or another artwork)
as background in GDM instead of the default grey background :-)
?

Best
Jesper
