<div dir="ltr">i just tested it on my home box and it seems that
mdm isn't causing this :( i don't know what is causing this
issue. Of course manjaro kde edition is fine as well. In worst
case scenario, i'd have to prepare my own iso based on
manjaro-kde after i strip all the unnecesary stuff out of it.</div>

<div>i was wondering, whether you have ever had a
situation like me. Whenever i try to install kde on my
manjaro box, i end up with the bug where i can't change
kde's settings (for example Qt theme) becuase it's not
saved. for instance i change the theme from say Oxygen
to Plastique and the settings window is affected, but
when i launch say konsole window (terminal emulator) it
has ugly motif theme. I have seen the forum thread on
manjaro [<a moz-do-not-send="true"

where the users advice to clean up kde's cache and i did
that with no avail.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>today i downloaded manjaro net edition, installed it
on virtualbox and after fetching the exact same packages
i am not affected by this bug anymore. The only
difference between those boxes seems to be that on the
manjaro-net i also installed kdm display manager and i
am not using mdm</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>what do you think? i know it sounds unreasonable but
i don't know how to track this bug.. :(</div>
