after an initial reboot issueing the command:-

<div dir="ltr">hi, regarding the firewall issue.....
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Not having much luck, I have tried the following...</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div><span style="font-size:12pt;">* after having enabled
the firewall using "sudo ufw enable", ufw reports that
firewall is enabled and set to run at startup. Checked
this is the case by looking in "/etc/ufw/ufw.conf".
However on boot ufw remains disabled.</span></div>

dependencies) using pacman and doing a reinstall but
still ufw remains disabled after rebooting.</div>

<div>All I can conclude is that somewhere in the startup
scripts ufw is not getting run. My only workaround is to
manually start the firewall from either the command line
(ufw) or gui (gufw) post boot. Sry I can't be of more
help.</div>
