(most or all are required to build on newer kernels). These
are the same pacthes that had the modules building fine on

Yes, that is odd, and it would be good to figure out what
caused this.<br>
Can you run 'git bisect' to test this out? Or point me at a
tarball<br>
that I can grab to do the build and I can do it myself. It
shouldn't<br>
take very long as there's no booting involved :)<br>
